Not every clue will fade with time,
Some still ring true within the rhyme.
A careful hunter looking back
Will find the ones that stay on track.

The first still whispers where to start,
The third and fourth still play their part.
The fifth remains, the seventh too,
The ninth still carries something through.

And one more waits as hunts grow keen,
Remember well what sixteen means.

The egg still rests where these align,
Their truths unchanged from earlier time.

The daylight falls both far and near,
Yet still it's very dark in here.

A loyal friend with wagging tail,
May help you sniff along the trail.
Bring your pup to hunt with thee,
But kindly don’t let them pee on me.

A single hint may point the way,
But stronger truths begin to stay
When hunters pause and start to see
The links between what clues may be.

Each piece alone may seem unsure,
Together they reveal much more.

Some things are meant to stay nearby,
Held close beneath the open sky.
Not by rope nor simple tie,
But iron links that won’t untie.

Look where something firm remains,
Fastened tight like ball and chain.

Not on the ground, not way up high,
But somewhere between foot and eye.

It doesn’t sit, it doesn’t move,
Yet hangs in place as if to prove.

Like a spider’s web, it’s held just right,
Suspended still and tucked from sight.

Look for something holding strong…
The prize is there where it belongs.

There’s a place with room to move, room to try,
Room to run, to turn, to aim, to drive.
A place where effort comes before
The confidence to do much more.

In view ahead the water lies,
Still now, but soon with playful cries.

The splashing sounds will start to show.
But where you search is not that place,
Just somewhere near within its gaze.
